Roots of the future

At TRIPP, great coffee doesn’t happen by accident. It starts with the people who grow it. That’s why we pay a premium price to our farmers, not as a bonus, but because better income leads to better coffee. When farmers have room to invest in their farms and focus on quality, everyone wins.

 

If we want to keep enjoying high quality coffee in the future, we need to invest in it today. That’s why for every kilogram of coffee sold, we invest €1 into local projects that support farmers and protect the environment they depend on. This isn’t about ticking boxes or empty claims. It’s about building a coffee chain that actually works.

 

Through this donation, we started our own project, Roots of the Future, where we plant indigenous shade trees in Colombia. These native trees are carefully selected to restore species that were replaced over the years by invasive varieties such as eucalyptus and pine. They work in balance with the coffee plants, improving soil health and providing natural shade. The cost to purchase, grow, and maintain one tree for a year is €2.
